LOTS to share !!!!!

Check out the new look on my blog. I just love it!! A big shout out to Emily at Blogaholic Designs. I found her on Etsy and I am so happy with her work and help on this page. If you are thinking about changing your blog check her out.

Now that I have the blog looking good I would love it if you would subscribe by email over on the right side bar. If you like what you see on my blog you can hover over a picture and Pin it to your Pintrest Board.  I also have a Facebook page and you can follow the links on the upper right to Like my page. Please share my site with your friends and friends of friends so that I don’t feel like I am talking to myself. J What? What? Did you hear that too…?? No, just the echo of my own voice. :-(

Now on to some sewing…
I have been working on so many projects and I wanted to share a bit about them.

First off I have been pattern testing for an independent designer Jen at Faith and Fabric.
She has made some really cute wall hangings. The first one was an Advent wall hanging.

The second pattern was a Thanksgiving wall hanging and I just love it.

I found some really pretty fall fabrics at my local quilt shop The Quilt Corner.

The pattern was easy to do and I even added another boarder because I liked the fabric so much.

The Second thing I am working on The Farmer’s Wife 1930’s quilt along. It is a year long quilt along with over 2000 quilters’ world wide following along. We do 2 blocks a week and I am sad to say I am a week and a half behind but here are first blocks. My sewing machine was in the shop for an entire week with apparently nothing wrong with it. When I got it back he said he couldn’t make it do what it was doing for me. But I will catch up now that I have her back. J

This one is #8 and it is named Aunt

This one is 16 Bonnie

This one is 12 Becky

This quilt along is sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop, Marti Michell and Angie at http://gnomeangel.com/   will be hosting the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler Quilt Sew-along.
Check out their businesses.

Here is my very large stash of 1930’s reproduction fabrics.

This really isn’t all of it but you get the idea!!

I have much more to share but I will leave some for the next post. Please don’t forget you can follow me by email, Pintrest, Twitter, Facebook and please leave me a comment so I know you have been here with me.

  2. Congrats on your new blog, it looks great. It would be super if you had a follow by bloglovin button on the side of your blog. I followed by e-mail but my preferred way of following blogs is through bloglovin (it keeps them more organized for me).
